Maintaining a Healthy Body as a Pearshape + Recipes i’m Loving

With Frankenstorm pushing its way through North Carolina, all I can think about is hunkering down in my apartment and cooking some yummy comfort food. As i’ve mentioned in past recipe posts, I try and eat as health consciously as possible, with an eye on carbohydrates and unhealthy fats. While I love my pearshaped figure, being healthy and maintaining a level body weight for my frame is important to me.

One of my absolute favorite recipe blogs to visit when i’m in need of a little foodie inspiration is Gina’s Skinnytaste.com. Her blog is so relatable, she has a wonderfully sarcastic tone (that I especially appreciate), and she breaks everything down for us kitchen noobs.

These are just a few things i’m hoping to cook this week: Escarole Soup w/ Turkey Meatballs, Chicken Pot Pie Soup, Strawberry Rhubarb Crisp, and delicious Apple Spice Scones
