Adam Tucker Leopard Loafer Review

Floral and Leopard

Madewell blouse (this year’s version), Cache dress (old, similar), Prada sunglasses, Sole Society necklace c/o, Adam Tucker shoes

There were two leopard things I was on the hunt for: a handbag (mission accomplished), and comfortable loafers. My good friend Luci raved about her Adam Tucker loafers a while back so when I saw them available at Nordstrom in leopard calf hair, I ordered immediately. I opted for a 1/2 size up (9.5) for reference, and love the fit.

Floral Layering

Lucite SoleSociety NecklaceI’m also so into this tribal necklace that Sole Society was kind enough to send me. It is the only jewelry I have on my trip to China and love that it goes with nearly anything. I wore it out to drinks a few weeks ago with a girlfriend here, and think it complimented black/white stripes just as well.

Leopard LoafersIf any of you have these Adam Tucker loafers, please let me know your thoughts. I haven’t worn them for long walking distances yet but so far they seem so good. I’d love to hear your experiences!

Ann Taylor “Chelsea” Crop, Revisited and Renamed

Black Pants for WorkForever 21 mint peplum (cap sleeve option) + belt, Ann Taylor “Chelsea” crop pant (now called “Carnegie” crop), Ferragamo shoes

It has been nearly a year since I slipped on my old favorite Chelsea crop. I used to live in these pants at work. They were the perfect mix of comfy and office appropriate and as I got more comfortable with the cuffed pants look, they became an absolute staple. But, interestingly enough, as I was writing this post and wanted to link back these pants for you, I noticed that Ann Taylor has changed the naming of these pants from the “Chelsea” crop to the “Carnegie.” While I can’t attest to whether the fit is the same, the stock photo looks identical to the old style. I am eager to get into a dressing room and try them on for comparison.

Black Pants

Bow FerragamosThese shoes are also one of the most spectacular work investments i’ve ever made. Comfortable, stylish, and they make me feel cute the whole day.

Mint PeplumKeep your ears peeled for some exciting job updates on my end when I return from China. Fun stuff is happening!

Navy Blue Sweater + Twisted Bun

Blue and LeopardMadewell top (old, more options below), BDG high rise skinny jeans, Navy Blue Tieks, Kenneth Cole leopard bag (my full review here)

As you’re reading this, Cesar and I are in China! We have been wanting to visit Asia for so many years and could not be more excited about having the chance. Temps here are well into the 90’s with crazy humidity, so this outfit couldn’t be further from what i’m wearing at the moment.

Twisted Bun

I’ve had this navy sweater for so long, and it has been such a favorite. Wool mixed with a bit of silk and a unique design make it so easy to pair with everything, I often wonder why I don’t pull it out more. I wore it a few weeks ago during a day out with Luci for lunch and photos, and loved it with my second pair of navy Tieks. I’m seriously obsessed and my feet are so spoiled by these shoes!

Low Bun

On another note, i’ve been trying to heat style my hair less and love this pouf meets twisted chignon look I tried in these photos. Get ready to see a ton of this hair style from our China photos when we get back!

As my navy sweater is ancient, here are a few others i’m eying to go with my new shoes:

I can’t even tell you, but we are SO thrilled to be visiting Asia (it’s our first time!) and can’t wait to explore. We will be seeing Macau, Hong Kong, and Beijing during our visit and can’t wait to document all of it for you.
