Spring Pairings: Orange, Pink and Leopard

J.Crew shell, KTR Collection skirt, Kelsi Dagger wedges, Kenneth Cole bag (similar from Steve Madden for under $100), Prada sunglasses

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve see this outfit. I wore it for a bright, fun Sunday pop of color and absolutely loved the combination. The last time I styled this skirt was for Holiday the last two years (see here and here), but was convinced to pull it out this weekend. I felt so feminine and girly, and the colors together are quickly becoming fast favorites.

Three Dots Sweater, Styling Option 2

IMG_9037-2

Three Dots sweater, Francesca’s skirt (so old), Sam Edelman sandals, Vintage Yigal Azrouel belt

I love this sweater so much I had to share a second way i’ve been styling it. The way it drapes over an already flowy skirt creates additional volume and dimension to the outfit. Paired with neutral sandals and my absolute favorite belt, this tunic has proved its worth again.

Also, don’t hate us for this warm weather we have been having! San Francisco has been in the 70s and i’m loving it.

Other waistbelts i’m loving as mine is vintage:

Tibi A-Line Blouse and Animal Print Skater Skirt

Tibi A-Line blouse (in green), Francesca’s skirt (more options below), SPANX tights, Steve Madden boots (on sale!), Ray Ban sunglasses, Club Monaco belt

This blouse has been on serious repeat. Belted, free flowing, layered under jackets, i’m all about it. There is a kelly green version on sale that i’m seriously considering picking up. In other news, I love this giraffe printed little skirt from years ago. I bought it at Francesca’s and the skater, flared shape has proven to be fantastic in creating that double peplum look i’ve been into lately.

I seriously couldn’t find any similar animal print skirts but here are a few printed skater skirts that i’ll be picking up this season. The floral one from Ted Baker specifically is calling my name… Can we say perfect transition piece?

J.Crew Fluted Skirt and Mixed Winter Prints

J.Crew T-shirt, Scarf (similar), Skirt and Boots (this year’s)

So I have a J.Crew addiction. Sue me. Also, Cesar loves this outfit. #Winner. But in all seriousness, I didn’t notice how much this skirt highlights my recent pooch as it does in these photos. In real life I feel much more comfortable wearing tops that tuck into this skirt but these pictures make me look preggo (not preggo, for reference). Regardless, I really like this outfit and appreciate the European feel it has.

Each of these pieces have been true workhorses for me since purchased. This skirt has been styled countless ways and this scarf makes the perfect pattern mix basic. J.Crew boots have also surprised me. While not the most comfortable shoes for long-time wear, they are sleek and serve the purpose for nights out and work days.

What are your thoughts on this skirt? Does anyone else own it?
