Tibi Button-Back Cotton Peplum – Style 1

Tibi blouse, James Jeans, J.Crew flats (half off in these gorgeous pastel colors)

I purchased this peplum months ago, and have been waiting to style it for the blog ever since. To say that it has become one of my favorite pieces would be an understatement. It is the cotton, Summer version to this blouse, and I couldn’t be more obsessed with the dramatic shape. Here I paired it with simple high-rise straight leg jeans, my favorite bright flats and some cute accessories. I have also worn it more formally with a pencil skirt and heels. That outfit will be up tomorrow, so stay tuned!

These photos were actually shot in a very special place by a very special group of ladies. If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen that I have another life update for you all. I have gotten quite a few emails asking about my work and if something had changed, and it has! I have officially joined the Poshmark team full-time, and couldn’t be more thrilled. There are an amazing crop of bloggers that happen to work at the company in different capacities, and the ladies shoot outfit photos at the end of each day. These were shot by my love,¬†Maria.

Have a happy Monday!

J.Crew Cat-Print Silk Blouse

J.Crew shirt, Nordstrom skirt (similar), Sam Edelman sandals (similar)

I bought this top on major sale at J.Crew and couldn’t love it more. I don’t own a ton of printed tops and this one was so fun, but still neutral enough to pair with a ton of items in my wardrobe. I ordered up to a size 12 as I find J.Crew silk tops to be quite constricting in the arms. The fit of the larger size is great across the bust and arms and I love the subtle drape.

The blues and whites pair so well with my favorite flared skirt from J.Crew. I need to get more of these skirts in my wardrobe asap!

I hope you’re having a wonderful week! And Happy St. Patricks Day!

Big Brother’s Wedding

If you remember some bridesmaid posts from last year, you’ll know that my big brother got married in June of 2013. The wedding was one of the best days and couldn’t have been more stunning. The photos were just released and I couldn’t help myself from sharing a few. But please be warned, this is a picture heavy post!

The rehearsal dinner was so stunning. Florals galore on a stunning vineyard in the Hamptons.

HH_106 - FINAL

Morning-of with my sister-in-law’s puppy!

One of my favorite photos. My older brother (right) and my younger brother (the best man!) laughing it up before the ceremony. This one is certainly getting printed and framed.

The wedding took place in the Hamptons. This is the gorgeous dinner after the ceremony. I couldn’t imagine a wedding more beautiful.

The original 5.

Our family is hot.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Note: the gorgeous earrings i’m wearing and the cufflinks for the men were crafted for the wedding party by jeweler Joan Hornig, my sister-in-law’s mom! Bow ties were crafted by my brother’s groomsman, Baruch Shemtov!

Beijing, China

These are the last of our China pictures, from our final destination: Beijing. We spent 3 full days in the city, and i’m not gonna lie when I say it was a difficult few days. We were already exhausted from almost 8 days of constant moving, and mainland China is not the easiest to navigate for noobie tourists. Nevertheless, seeing Tiananmen¬†square, the Forbidden city, the Great Wall and tons of night markets and restaurants was amazing, and a true cultural experience for us.

Beautiful waving canal in the Forbidden City.

And this guy, waving around, a little loopy from the heat.

Sweaty with no makeup during our very steep hike up the Great Wall! Such an amazing view and highlight of the whole trip.

Last but not least, our final adventure. We rode push carts all the way down the Great Wall to the base! So so amazing and definitely something I would recommend if you visit.
