PIOL Dress – The Customized Little Black Dress

PIOL custom dress c/o, Ann Taylor trench, Cole Haan heels, CHANEL handbag

Guys, i’ve jumped on the custom clothing bandwagon. After having such a great experience in Hong Kong customizing a blazer, I was thrilled to work with PIOL to craft my dream dress. I knew I wanted something basic as i’ve found it nearly impossible to find the perfect black dress that fits off the rack.

The process of taking my measurements and ordering the dress couldn’t have been easier. Using a simple tape measure I took my bust, hip and waist measurements, and inputted my standard clothing and bra sizes for even more accuracy. Then it was on to selecting the style and fabric, and within a few short weeks I had my dress!

I love how the dress turned out. When I say it fits my like a glove, i’m not kidding. Down to the last inch, this dress was made for me. It is a bit longer than I had anticipated but I think the length will be perfect for more formal evenings out.

I’m absolutely in love with the silk black material and know I will get a ton of use out of this new wardrobe staple.

Thank you to PIOL for sponsoring this post, and to you guys for supporting the companies that help make ThePearShape possible.

  • Custom clothing has always totally been worth it. A friend of mine goes to Hong Kong on business all the time and only purchases his suits there because not only are they less expensive they’re phenomenally made. I love the way that dress fits you! So worth it!

Loved your customized little black dress and your black stiletto high heel shoes. It’s fits you like a glove and the makeup is perfect. However the only critique I would offer at this time is that you should of wore glossy, shinny nude or suntan or black pantyhose or tights
with your black stiletto high heel shoes instead of being barelegged. Please accept my feedback as merely encouragement, I hope to see more in the future. Keep up the good work.
