Alice & Olivia dress, Coach heels (similar and gorge!), Gorjana and Griffin rings
So i’ll just start with a fair warning: this is a booty heavy post. I mean, look at this dress and tell me you wouldn’t flaunt it too! This Alice & Olivia number couldn’t fit my body any better, and i’m in love. A few weeks back I did a post about dresses I was eying for upcoming weddings/rehearsal dinners/etc. This is one of the ones I actually ordered and think it would be wonderful for a bridal shower I have coming up. My only hesitation is the heftier price tag for a cotton dress.
This particular body hugging style always works well for pears. Because of our narrow waist, dresses like these give an even fuller hourglass effect and really show off our best assets. On this particular dress, the high waist line helps to elongate the leg, and the ruching and bunching up top balances out the top half of our body.
The gathered pleats on the side help to camouflage any problem areas and the longer hem with tapering at the bottom really narrows the leg line and covers any insecurities we may have with our bottom half.
Needless to say, with a nude shoe and big glamorous curls, this dress would be perfect for any upcoming summer event!
What do you think of this dress? Would you keep it at its nearly $300 price tag?
