Wedge Military Ankle Boots With Skinny Jeans

IMG_2564-2

J.Crew blazer, Ann Taylor sequins top (old, similar), Banana Republic skinny jeans, Kelsi Dagger wedges (this year’s), Tory Burch sunglasses (here in tortoise), Anthropologie necklace (old, amazing option)

I wore this outfit to work last week and to be honest, I wasn’t the most comfortable in it. I have had these Kelsi Dagger booties for ages but had never worn them with skinny jeans tucked in. I always felt that they “pegged” my legs too much and emphasized the width of my thighs. I decided to experiment last week and am not 100% convinced I love it. Hypocritical I know, considering I just did a post on black ankle booties, but i’m working on it!

What I do love is this sequins tank. If you can believe it, I have almost given this tank away so many times but now have rediscovered it and love pairing it in unexpected ways.

I’d love to know what you think of these booties. Honest opinions! I trust your objective eye and would love to know if I looked ridiculous last week at work.

I like them! You could potentially consider a higher heel to help elongate, but I know that’s not always an option. I’m so very much loving how you styled everything with the sequins, necklace and military elements!

I love everything apart from the shoes. They just look a bit out of sorts with your outfit. But girl, you are nothing close to ridiculous, unless you mean ridiculously awesome :)

Sorry I don’t LOVE them :/ Might be better with tights and a skirt???
